We are all gifted with talents and we are born that way. How to use these sets of skills effectively is a matter of perspective. Thinking like a winner will bring out the confidence in you so it’s fundamental to be adept in confidence building. Training yourself to think like a winner is easy with a “to-do list”.

Confidence Building through a To-do List

You may have tried it and felt it didn’t work but before you refuse making a “to-do” list, let’s take a look at how this list will appeal to you. This list should make you feel like a winner every day. Of course, this is a matter of mindset and you have to feel like a winner as much as possible by making a fun and easy to do list. Here’s a sample confidence building list and see how it goes:

  1. Get out of bed. Don’t keep your alarm clock wake you up repeatedly. One alarm should wake you up.
  2. Brush your teeth and comb your hair. Simple grooming after getting out of bed is one thing you can do to freshen up.
  3. Get dressed. Look and feel beautiful/handsome with some not-so-ordinary outfit.
  4. Eat something. Fuel up before you start your day.
  5. Eat something else. Satisfy your food cravings.
  6. Walk to a car, bus or another room. Have another view to change your mood.
  7. Smile. Brighten up your day with a smile!
  8. Answer the phone. But only if it rings. Talk to someone and express yourself.
  9. Put socks on… and feel comfortable.

Sounds super easy? This isn’t your regular “to do” list but a sort of self-conditioning list. With all these marked as “done” at the end of the day, it will make you feel like you’ve accomplished so much on that day. Confidence building starts with that feeling like a winner. You’ll be confident enough in your abilities to get things done.

Practicing this “to do” list making will set your mind to think of yourself as a winner. You may be very busy at times and forget about this confidence building list but you may still write a “done” list before you call it a day. Just by merely looking at a list being marked off, you’ll feel that you’ve done a lot and you won that day.

This list may sound too simple but remember your subconscious doesn’t care about what is real or imagined. It’s the idea of “accomplishing your confidence building list everyday” is what makes you feel like a winner. You will notice yourself getting more confident in the long run. It’s when you can start adding realistic and more challenging tasks to building your confidence list and doing them with the same “feel good” attitude.

Don’t do a complete shift of your confidence building list. Take few list at a time and conceal the real items you want to be done for that day with your stand-by easy ones. The “feel good” attitude towards building confidence list is an important factor that you don’t want to lose when making your list. Mirror someone you know to be confident. Look at how they approach the day, do they smile and brighten up? In the process of confidence building, allowing yourself to enjoy life is a fundamental. You’ll surely feel like a winner!
